Job Description

What you'll do As a Content Strategist at Screenmedia, you'll: Copywrite, produce, curate and quality assure content Work closely with our Production, Planning, Design, and client teams to ensure that our client's digital content delivers against user and business objectives Use an insight and evidence-driven approach to shape strategy, support governance, and execute content plans for clients of all shapes and sizes Take a leading role on content strategy projects, devising cross-channel content solutions that deliver on business objectives and user outcomes Work directly with client teams to capture requirements through business and audience analysis, user and stakeholder research, and best practice research Create content strategy deliverables including content inventories and audits, recommendation reports, metadata, gap analyses, and CMS documentation Manage internal and/or external content producers to support the effective delivery, maintenance, and governance of digital content Work with our UX and Planning teams to inform information architecture, filter/tag taxonomies, navigation labelling, etc. Conduct keyword and SEO research to understand user intent Develop content briefs for internal or external content producers across a variety of media (e.g. web copy, video, infographic, etc.) Communicate content strategy to client stakeholders at all levels of the business Share best practice knowledge in content strategy across our internal teams Your skills and experience We're looking for applicants who can demonstrate: Extensive experience in a content strategy role, with proven experience in developing and executing content strategies for large-scale, cross-platform B2C digital ecosystems Ability to identify, ideate, and generate new content opportunities across multiple channels and mediums Experience in gathering user feedback and adapting content strategies for continuous improvement Experience working directly with client teams and managing a small team of content producers (e.g. copywriters, designers) Experience writing and delivering creative content briefs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Skills in data analysis and data-driven decision making An excellent working knowledge of content governance tools Comfort working directly with clients and presenting content strategy to all levels of the business Experience working with Umbraco CMS is desirable, and experience working in an agency environment is preferred, but not essential.
