Bring your passion for student experience and collaborate with University stakeholders to support creating a world worth living in Actively contribute to key projects related to the continuous improvement of course and subject quality standards Join a newly established office which focuses on best practice academic quality and standards The Role Continuing, Full time Level 7 - $91,305 to $99,766 (plus 17% superannuation) Bathurst, Orange or Wagga Wagga As Academic Quality Officer, you will be partnering with faculties and divisions to provide support and oversight of course and subject quality assurance and improvement processes. Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, you will be supporting the review, monitoring and reporting of academic quality assurance processes across the university and liaising with faculty staff to address emerging issues. You will contribute to improvements in course and subject quality policy and procedures including identifying needs and supporting development of relevant professional development for staff to implement continuous improvement initiatives. To be successful you will have A relevant qualification with at least four years subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training and experience. Demonstrated ability to exercise judgement and autonomous decision making to provide advice to stakeholders. Proven experience in interpreting and applying quality assurance policies, procedures and standards within the higher education setting. Proven organisation, analytical and time management skills. Excellent communication skills, including report writing and negotiating, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders. The Office of Academic Quality and Standards is a dedicated and centralised team focussed on Charles Sturt policy and processes to assure the quality of our courses and subjects. The Office leads the development of policy and procedure that supports quality educational outcomes, and provides central services supporting quality and compliance monitoring and enhancement at the School, Faculty and Portfolio level; curriculum management; and, in partnership with Faculty and the Division of Security, Safety and Wellbeing, academic integrity and misconduct.
